CONGRATULATIONS, ELIZABETH!!!
Your start date is DH's 73rd B-day!

I'm glad you got employed! Your hard work & determination paid off! WTG!
Nancy, Never heard anything on the news about any lock-down over Ebola scare, so am wondering what's going on.
Kathryn, That's just too funny about your Duncle and his Dsis arguing about her age.

It sounds cute.
DH went to the other county and town, to renew his license, but they didn't open until 1:30 p.m. He went to the nursing home out there, to see our old Dneighbor, who's had a stroke. We've known him and his Dwife since 1975. She's in a separate, more secured room, because of Alzheimer's and she wanders off. So he's a bit upset they cannot be together, but they eat lunches together in the dining room. DH said our Dfriend/old neighbor was super glad to see him. He didn't have time to go see the Dwife though.
I have a stack of pattern leaflets/print-outs to file into the filing cabinet AND/OR into the binders I have for them, with empty plastic sleeves just waiting to be filled up again. It's a time-consuming chore.

I noticed dust, as I hadn't dusted this week, on the main office, will do that, once my filing is put away.
I found out that I have well over 45 Granny squares, with the last round in black, to SC around OR DC around in black, join squares, then edge. Decided to give the Granny afghan to my 98.5-year-old Dfriend for Christmas.

♥ Currently, the Bunny Room is also in disarray.

I have had DH put up the card table, Grannies are laid out atop it, for me to edge, and join as I go. I didn't want like squares to be next to like squares, so interspersed them throughout as evenly as I could. I've only had these Grannies since about 2009 now.

It's TIME to do something with them, to bless someone else, and then it'll be one less tote full of Grannies sitting in my walk-in closet.
After the Granny's done, I'll sort through magazines in there, start a file folder for what I tear/cut out of magazines, file them away, and will dust that room and the main office.

My office needs to be re-done again. It totally is looking like Fibber McGee lives in this office. Not actually, but close.
Waving at Everyone. This is a quick C. I. to "touch base" with ya'll and to say have a Happy TGIF tomorrow! I'm so glad the end of the week's at hand tomorrow. The San Francisco Giants won the play-off games, so they'll be up against the Kansas City Royals in the World Series. It'll be busy at our house with The World Series, college and pro-football on TV.

It'll be good times to crochet, too.
HAPPY FRIDAY, TOMORROW, EVERYBODY!
