Hi everyone....it's nice to get here a little earlier in the afternoon instead of later in the day.
I kept busy this morning with regular weekly cards. I've kept my apron on and this afternoon I've been cutting more fabric. There's no company today as ds#1 has to work late due to store inventory and dgd15 has a competition at another local high school. These competitions take all morning for practice and all afternoon & evening for all the schools to have their time on the field. Dh has one of my aprons on also --- he found a new cookie recipe to try!
In between my to dos I have watched some of the beach webcams.
http://www.surfchex.com/follybeach-web-cam.php --- there are multi cams here and shows how rough the water is now. There have been quite a few surfers out in the waves!
Dee... I was hoping there was some way for you to leave for the south a little earlier to miss the bad weather. You and dh will be in my thoughts and prayers this coming week! I know there are many people here that either will be affected by the wind and rain or that have loved ones and dfriends in those areas. They are in my thoughts as well.
Twins... I'm glad you are still able to see lots of wildlife close by. Have fun at Hob Lob! ((DMacs))!
Dee... maybe taking the extra pill at breakfast would work better since you wouldn't have as long time between meals as between dinner and breakfast. Tests of 60s and 70s are too low at any time! Dh sometimes has to have a small snack before he goes to bed, depends on what he has eaten during the day. Hope you can work it out soon.
Nancy... it's good to see you again. I don't watch the same programs as my dh either! I have a small tv in the family room where I can watch something different. Dgd's apron sounds cute.

"There is just something about an apron that puts us in the mentality of "we're gonna get stuff done now!". Know what I mean?

" I know what you mean --- that's why I put mine on today!
Happy Birthday to Mr. Ivy!
Dee... my post has sat here for a while....just saw your last question. Here's my post from the other day when you talked about the new script.:
"Dee ...I wanted to tell you that my dh is also taking Metformin, for quite a few years now. His is 1000 MG twice a day. He takes it after eating breakfast and after dinner. He has never had a bad reaction from it; it doesn't affect his appetite. The last A1C test was 6.2. Oh, the label on the bottle says Metformin is generic for Glucophage.
Also, he gets his script through Publix free. Dr. sent the Rx from her office right to our nearest store by computer. That was 2 years ago. Script was renewed one year at a time. Hope this helps." Sorry, I know it's a little long.....
